We are updating our site gradually. Our most recent changes involved our "Conversations" page, accessible here or from the drop-down menu under 'Library'. Please give it a look.
Our doors are open for service. We are still following the Diocese of East Carolina's decision to follow North Carolina's guidance regarding gatherings. We follow social distancing and masking indoors in crowded situations.
The 1st and 3rd Sundays (as well as 5th Sundays when they happen) are Holy Eucharists Rite II services celebrated by Fr. John Frazier. The remaining two Sundays are Morning Prayer with members of our parish acting as the officiants.
Our regular small groups are now meeting again, also following social distancing measures.
We continue to do our part to halt the virus and its variants as we worship together and support each other. We encourage vaccines to build the immunity that we need as individuals and a community.
Sunday Services are at 9:30 a.m.
We welcome your visits to our facebook and web pages and our blog (see 'Conversations', under the Library heading here at the web site.)
Stay safe, stand back, and say 'I love you' to those you love. We may live in harrowing times, but we are not bowed, and All are Welcome here.
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ!
From our mission statement printed above you can see that we are an inclusive parish, as we believe that the genuine embrace of the other is in keeping with our baptismal covenant as expressed in our Book of Common Prayer. With God’s help we will continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, proclaiming the good news of God in Christ, and striving for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being. (BCP 304/5)We love opportunities to sing, share meals and to be hospitable. Your presence among us provides us with such an opportunity. Whatever your walk in life we invite you into our fellowship – a sanctuary for the sojourner as we also strive to follow Christ.
