| Are you looking for a spiritual home where
the Sacramental life is celebrated? The Parish Church of Saint Paul’s-in-the-Pines
offers that quiet time of reflection, steeped in scriptures and music,
with fellowship, all within the wonderful tradition of The Episcopal
Church. Flowing from this exposure to God in Christ enhances one’s
happiness, offers answers to our purpose in life, and furthers the
Kingdom of God on earth. Allow the people through God’s Presence
to assist you in your journey through life! Come
to St. Paul's-in-the-Pines. We await you to share in your discovery
of all that God has to offer. EVERYONE is welcome to St. Paul's
and to the Lord's Table in the Holy Eucharist, the central act of
Christian worship in the Church.
St. Paul's is a family oriented community of
believers, who have evolved through the years. We define “family”
in many ways and welcome all people and families - the widows living
alone, to couples with young children, the elderly and the very
young, and the middle-aged - we are all a family in Christ. We are
rich in the Christian, Anglican, Episcopalian and Judeo-Christian
faith and traditions. Our services and activities are attended by
people of all faiths, involved in a variety of Pastoral Care and
Missions.
Life in St. Paul's family is always a variety
of new experiences - we call them “Aha's” - discoveries
of what God has intended for us that we had not seen before. Each
year we have a Parish Retreat to discern, to learn and to play together.
The parish is in the city of Fayetteville, an
All-American City. Fayetteville is one of the fastest growing communities
in North Carolina, but still retains its "small town"
charm. Fayetteville is the home of Ft. Bragg Army and Pope Air Force
bases. We have one of the most diverse populations in the nation,
to include the Lumbee Indians, Hispanic immigrants, African-Americans
and many nationalities that celebrate together once a year at the
International Folk Festival. Food, costumes, music and crafts from
more than twenty countries are on display on Hay Street and around
the Market House. |
