Welcome to St. Pauls–in–the-Pines!
We invite you to enjoy and to relish the Spirit of God with our lively
worship services. As we “offer and present unto thee, O Lord,
ourselves, our souls and bodies,” we give ourselves and our
gifts to God and each other in a variety of liturgies, to learn, to
grow and to love in community – Communion - dedicated to serving
God. Sunday
mornings begin with Christian Education for all ages beginning at
9:00 am. The 10:30 am Holy Eucharist is filled with joyful music
and wonderful styles of worship. The Readings from Holy Scripture,
appointed from the Lectionary, are always as appropriate for our
daily living today as when they were first written in The Bible.
We use primarily Rite II of the Book of Common Prayer, and other approved
worship services of the Episcopal Church. During the Lenten and
Advent Seasons, it has been our practice to use Rite I, but we are
not bound by this.
Children of all ages are welcome at the Services
at St. Paul's. The Worship Committee of the parish actively prepares
and finds new ways to worship our Lord in the great liturgies of
the Church. Our various worship ministries are a great way to serve
the Lord and be a part of the St. Paul's family. Acolytes, the Altar
Guild, our Choir, Ushers, Lectors, Chalice Bearers and Lay Eucharistic
Ministers all assist to make worship meaningful and uplifting, involving
as many as possible in the experience.
The Worship Committee welcomes you. Come and
worship with us! |
